Jon Jarvie
PT, DPT
Macomb Township West

Growing up, I was always involved in sports and fitness which turned into a passion for the medical field. I was blessed enough to play football at the collegiate level at Wayne State University but was prematurely ended due to a back injury my freshmen year. I’ve had PT before, but the experience I had this time was a blessing in disguise, and it so happens it was at HealthQuest Macomb. I was able to buy into the conservative approach and avoided surgery at 18 years old, which significantly improved my function and quality of life while evolving my passion for physical therapy. Being on the patient side of things, I understand the physical, mental, and emotional burden it can put on someone, especially when it comes to not being able to do what we love. At the time, I thought I had nowhere to go, but now I see it as my gift to relate to my patients and provide the best possible care that they deserve to obtain the main goal: getting them back to what they love to do.

My family consists of my two amazing parents, my older brother, and younger sister. I have a fiancé who I am blessed to be marrying in July 2023. I can confidently say I wouldn’t be here without these people throughout my journey. My passions include attending sporting events, especially Lions and Michigan (Go Blue), traveling, hiking, golfing, working out, and being able to spend quality time with my friends and family.
